This guidebook has been developed as an information resource of statutory provisions, rules, and current administrative practices for the fact-finding dispute settlement process administered by the Ohio State Employment Relations Board (SERB). The policies in the guidebook are subject to change and are not binding upon the State Employment Relations Board in its subsequent determination of procedural or substantive issues of law.
These guidelines are not comprehensive. The parties and neutrals continue to be responsible for knowing all statutory and rule provisions governing the fact-finding dispute settlement procedure. Parties or neutrals are to contact the Bureau of Mediation with any questions regarding this statutory dispute settlement process.
